Relay For Life 2014 !

Its Relay for life weekend in second life! 

Go Relay!! :)

Ive spent the last 5 hours (exploring and) doing a lap on this years track. I only crashed 4 times this year, and only one sim was unavailable at the time of crossing. i think theres about 40 or more sims in this years gathering, and theres something to see in all of them. i dont think il have time to check out all of them sadly. i wish this were open all year and not just for these two days.... but its something to look forward to :)

Ive taken a bunch of photos from today's adventure for you below.

Starting at 10am slt / 6pm gmt we kicked off with
the traditional opening from the organisers....
 this sim was packed full and typically laggy :)

 So laggy that one of the speakers was looking a little
picasso shaped.....

 Here i am with a selfie in front of the opening stage
. I have no mesh attached and lovely default hair in an
attempt to save lag

.

Taking a look at the map you can see the whole group
 of sims is brimming full of avi's doing relay as well.
 i love how in its 10th year, RFL is in a 10 shape XD

And SO!  off I go to the starting line... :) wish me luck!

first sim i crossed, with a cage-like boarder

 theres the media tower where i will later try and
photobomb the tv crew, hehe

 making my way around the track i spotted this
amazing climing frame thing. have saved a landark
to explore this later

 

Outside the climbing frame sim we have a bunch 

of team members riding crazy cows.... 

 

 bit of a detour onto a lovely purple track

 and now the track goes underwater?! arrgh!

 windlight kicks in and i can see clear water... phew

 its lovely underwater here

ahh.... the broken sim. time to teleport onwards

 what on earth? castle of doom, and the track goes
around it, eek!

 and thats my survivor lap complete! now to go
back to that climbing frame sim.....

crikey that was challenging!
